Your data, handled like engineers.
This policy explains what Paiteq collects through paiteq.com and when you engage us, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. No tracking cookies, no data sale — plain English.
001 / WHO WE AREWho we are
Paiteq Private Limited (founded 2017, trading as “Paiteq”, “we”, “us”) is an AI engineering services company building LLM, agent, RAG, ML, and automation systems for enterprise teams. Our engineering HQ is in Bengaluru, Karnataka 560077, India, with a registered US mailing address at 539 W. Commerce St #1814, Dallas, TX 75208.
This policy covers two things: the paiteq.com website, and the process of engaging Paiteq for services (inquiries, scoping, and audit conversations). It does not cover the bespoke data handling inside a signed engagement — that is governed by the contract and a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for that project.
002 / WHAT WE COLLECTInformation we collect
- Contact form data — name, email, and optionally company and phone, plus
the workload or message you submit. Our contact form is first-party and POSTs to
/api/contacton our own domain. - Engagement / audit data — information you share while we scope and discuss a possible engagement.
- Correspondence — emails you send to info@paiteq.com and our replies.
- Technical / log data — IP address, browser and device type, referrer, pages viewed, and timestamps, captured by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
- Cookies — see section 006.
We do not knowingly collect special or sensitive categories of personal data through the website. A DPA is signed before any sensitive data touches our infrastructure as part of an engagement.
003 / HOW WE USE ITHow we use information
- Respond to inquiries and scope potential work.
- Deliver services you have engaged us for.
- Send transactional communications related to your inquiry or project.
- Improve the website using aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns.
- Meet legal and accounting obligations.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud and security incidents.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
004 / LEGAL BASESLegal bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Contract — to respond to and perform an engagement you request.
- Legitimate interests — to run, secure, and improve our website and business, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, and other law.
- Consent — where we ask for it, which you may withdraw at any time.
005 / PROCESSORSThird-party processors / sub-processors
We use a small set of vetted providers to operate the site and handle inquiries. They process data only on our documented instructions and under appropriate security commitments:
- Sanity — the CMS that stores our blog and site content.
- Cloud hosting / CDN provider — serves the website and keeps server logs.
- Email / CRM — receives and manages inquiries sent through the contact form or by email.
- LLM / model API providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) — act as sub-processors when a model is invoked inside a contact-handling or product flow.
006 / COOKIESCookies and analytics
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The Paiteq site loads no third-party analytics or advertising scripts and sets no tracking cookies.
Our fonts are self-hosted on our own domain, so normal browsing sends no data to Google or any font CDN. The only third parties that may load are:
- Embedded media — some blog posts may embed a video or post from a third party (for example YouTube, Vimeo, or X/Twitter). When such an embed loads, that provider may set its own cookies. Posts without embeds load no third parties.
Any strictly-necessary first-party cookies (for example, contact-modal session state) are used only to make the site work and need no consent.
007 / RETENTIONData retention
- Contact / inquiry data — about 24 months from your last contact.
- Engagement / project data — for the duration of the engagement plus 5 years, to meet tax and legal requirements.
- Server logs — roughly 30–90 days.
- Consent records — for as long as we rely on that consent.
008 / YOUR RIGHTSYour rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, object to, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — your EU data protection authority, the UK ICO (ico.org.uk), or under India’s DPDP Act 2023.
To exercise any of these, email info@paiteq.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. We respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first.
009 / TRANSFERSInternational transfers
Paiteq is India-based, and your data may move between India, the United States, and the EU. For transfers subject to EU/UK GDPR, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and appropriate safeguards.
010 / CHILDRENChildren
The website and our services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
011 / CHANGESChanges to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. For material changes, we email active clients.
